2023 SUMMER SCHOOL

This year, the Summer Rising Program will start on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. All students must report to their summer school site at 8:00am. The Summer Rising Program is Monday through Friday from 8:00am until 6:00pm. If you are unaware of where to report for summer school, please call Ms. Mendez. This year students in Grades 3-5 performing below grade level, will be mandated to attend summer school. Notices will be sent home.

KINDERGARTEN STEPPING UP CEREMONY

Our Kindergarten Stepping up Ceremony will be held on Friday, June 23 at IS 383 at 9:00 AM. Parents need to take their children directly to IS 383 by 8:30 AM.

FIFTH GRADE FINAL ASSEMBLY

The 5th grade final assembly will be held on Friday, June 23 at 12:00 PM at IS 383.

BOOK FAIR

If you haven’t had a chance to purchase a book at our book fair in the library, we encourage you to do so as soon as possible. Our book fair will end June 2nd. As we are getting closer to the end of the school year, I encourage parents to set aside books that your child can read over the summer. It is important for your child to read everyday over the summer. This will help them maintain their reading level for September. So, Hurry! Have your child purchase books to read over the summer. Parents can shop on Friday, June 2nd from 3 to 4 pm.
